Protege™ GPS™ Self-Expanding Peripheral Stent System
The On-Target Stent Placement System
The Protege™ GPS™ Self-Expanding Peripheral Stent is a self-expanding Nitinol stent system. The stent is made of a nickel titanium alloy (Nitinol) and comes on a 6F over-the-wire delivery system. The stent is cut from a Nitinol tube into an open lattice design and has tantalum radiopaque markers at the proximal and distal ends of the stent. Upon deployment, the stent achieves its predetermined diameter and exerts a constant, outward force to establish patency in the peripheral arteries.

Optimal Stent Design
Large Diameters
- 9 mm – 14 mm diameter stents
- 20 mm – 80 mm stent length

Easy & Precise Delivery
- PROTÉGÉ GPS™ Delivery System features a catheter with zones of varying flexibility for optimal pushability and trackability.
- A soft, flexible tip is designed for atraumatic catheter advancement and placement.
- EX.P.R.T.™ Deployment System anchors the stent and essentially eliminates premature stent deploy mentor “jumping.”

Smooth deployment
- Unique inner catheter structure minimizes contact points between inner and outer catheters for smoother stent deployment.
Enhanced visibility
- Tantalum GPS Markers on each end of the stent provides for precise positioning and enhanced visibility.
Optimal Stent Design
- Unique cell design provides the optimal combination of flexibility and radial strength. No flared edges reduces the potential for irritation or damage to the lumen.
