Protege EverFlex Self-Expanding Peripheral Stent System

The next generation stent

The Protege EverFlex Self-Expanding Peripheral Stent System is a self-expanding Nitinol stent system. The stent is made of a nickel titanium alloy (Nitinol) It is an over-the-wire delivery system. The stent is cut from a Nitinol tube into an open lattice design and is designed with tantalum radiopaque markers at the proximal and distal ends of the stent.

Durability
  • In rigorous fatigue testing conducted by both ev3 and an external testing facility, the EverFlex Self-Expanding Stent survived up to 5 to 10 times longer than any competitive stent tested.
  • Spiral cell interconnecting design significantly improves flexibility and vessel conformability, without sacrificing radial strength.
  • 3-wave peak design resists compression while providing excellent wall apposition
  • Multi-step finishing process reduces surface imperfections
