SilverHawk Plaque Excision System with Proprietary MEC Technology

Remove the Plaque, Preserve Treatment Options.

The SilverHawk Plaque Excision System is a device used to remove plaque that blocks arteries and interrupts blood flow. Unlike other methods of restoring bloodflow, the SilverHawk removes the obstruction – plaque build-up – instead of simply compressing it against the vessel wall.

The SilverHawk device is capable of removing significant amounts of plaque without overstretching the artery, which can cause barotrauma. Hundreds of milligrams of plaque are routinely removed from the arteries treated with the SilverHawk. By removing plaque, the SilverHawk creates an open channel for adequate blood flow without stretching the vessel.

  • Up to 30% increase in tissue capacity compared to LS device wtihout MEC Technology

MEC Technology - SilverHawk LS-M incorporates the use of MEC (Micro Efficient Compression) Technology, which is a breakthrough advancement allowing greater tissue storage in the tip via micro vent holes.
