Axium™ PRIME Detachable Coil System

Axium™ PRIME is a series of softer coils designed to complement the existing detachable coil products from Covidien. Axium™ PRIME detachable coils provide greater softness, enabling them to conform to the aneurysm wall, fill open spaces more effectively, and easily deflect around the established coil mass. The Axium™ PRIME detachable coil system is engineered to provide smoother delivery and enhanced pusher flexibility to reduce micro catheter kickout.

Axium™ PRIME detachable coils are intended for the endovascular embolization of intracranial aneurysms. Axium™ PRIME detachable coils are also intended for the embolization of other neurovascular abnormalities such as arteriovenous malformations and arteriovenous fistulae.
